Users can set up blood pressure trends, insulin resistance trends, and sleep breathing quality metrics in the app beginning this week. The tools will be included free with Pixel Watch 3, 4, and 5 devices, with the first trend reports arriving in early October. 2 Fitbit Air users will be able to see their insulin resistance and blood pressure trends with a Google Health Premium subscription later this year.Backed by clinical research, the new Health Guardian features work continuously in the background to track subtle physiological shifts over time. The Health Guardian features suite also includes our first-of-its-kind Breathing Emergency Detection for Pixel Watch 4 and 5 users in select European countries. It’s designed to automatically prompt a call to emergency services if a user experiences severe drops in blood oxygen. 3 1 Health Guardian features availability varies by region/country and device and may require a subscription. Blood pressure trends (Vascular Stress / Vascular Stress Trends in JP/MX), insulin resistance trends (metabolic stress trends in JP and MX), sleep breathing quality, and high/low heart rate alerts are intended for general wellness and informational purposes only and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, or substitute for professional medical advice. Insulin resistance and blood pressure trends and the breathing quality metric are not a prescreener for diabetes, hypertension, or sleep apnea respectively, do not provide real-time clinical readings, should not be used to adjust medications or treatment plans, or used by individuals who are pregnant. Some features not available on all devices and may require a Google Health Premium subscription (sold separately), Google Health app, and internet connection.
